Welcome to Armenian Korfball WebSite.
The story of Armenian Korfball has no so long story.
Some years ago a Dutchman, named Rob and his wife Satik in 1989 decided to found a Korfball team in Armenia.
So they came, gathered a group of good basketball players from Physical Culture University and after a short time they took part in European Qualification Games. They had a big success, all the newspapers wrote about Armenian team "...though they play basketball, but they win!...", so they won the 5-th place in European Championship. Armenians liked that game and it exists up to now.
We are thankful to all who made and making now something for Armenian Korfball.
